Overview

The Department of Medicine is the largest clinical department at AMCCu and serves as the cornerstone of clinical training for MBBS students. The department manages a broad spectrum of medical conditions across its dedicated inpatient wards and busy outpatient clinics.

With a team of highly qualified consultants and registrars, students receive structured bedside teaching, case presentations, and clinical skills training throughout their clinical years.

The medicine wards accommodate over 150 patients with dedicated HDU capacity. The department runs subspecialty clinics in diabetes, nephrology, gastroenterology, and neurology.
