Overview

The Department of Community Medicine & Public Health at AMCCu is dedicated to training future doctors in preventive medicine, epidemiology, health promotion, and the social determinants of health. The department conducts field work in urban and rural communities, giving students direct exposure to public health challenges.

The department operates a well-functioning Urban Health Centre and coordinates with national health programmes to provide students with real-world public health experience.
